Cisco releases security updates for vulnerability in the remote access SSL VPN features of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. 

Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability.

National CERT encourages users to apply all available updates in order to prevent any kind of misuse by the attacker.
