As part of the "Cyber ​​Balkans" project, the e-Governance Academy (eGA) in cooperation with RATEL as the National CERT, organized a workshop on May 7-8, 2025, dedicated to strengthening the cyber resilience of critical sectors in the Republic of Serbia, through comprehensive risk management models, legal frameworks and practical methodologies.

The event brought together international and local experts, as well as stakeholders from the finance, telecommunications, energy and state institutions sectors, to explore the frameworks offered by the EU, its member states and Serbia, with a focus on how they can be adapted to improve the country's cybersecurity.

For the purposes of this event, the National CERT and eGA organized an exercise that combined the technical, organizational and communication aspects of responding to ransomware incidents, with the division of roles according to the skills of the participants. The aim of the exercise was to provide participants with a picture of the complexity and different aspects of responding to incidents, as well as to review the importance of collaboration between stakeholders.
