National CERT holds two CyberRange platform trainings

4. October 2022

The National CERT held on September 14, in Zrenjanin and on September 28 in Čačak, another two trainings for local self-governing unit representatives on Cyber Range platform. This time the trainings were in an in-person format, whereas 10 trainings within the previous cycle were carried out online.

The first cycle was attended by 34 administrators and system engineers, with the follow-up having been organized in two appointments for another 10 attendees.

CyberBit/CyberRange platform was donated within project „Norway for You - Serbia“, funded by the Kingdom of Norway and carried out by UNOPS.

The work in a realistic cyber attack simulation environment enabled the participants to efficiently improve their skills and defense techniques against cyber attacks, which are growing ever-more sophisticated and harder to detect.

Through the continuous implementation of technical trainings and workshops in the area of information security, the National CERT contributes to the maintenance of appropriate levels of knowledge and the development of specific skills necessary for an adequate response to new circumstances and challenges in the cyber space.
